8.1. Unit Overview

There are two parts to the AP CS Principles Assessment:

• The Create Performance Task (at least 9 hours of in-class time, 30% of the AP Score). Click here to read more about the performance task.
• The AP Exam (2 hours, 70% of the AP Score)

This unit focuses on the AP Exam for the CS Principles curriculum. It includes details on what to expect during the exam, including its format. A copy of the reference sheet for the exam is provided, as well as, sample exam questions.
